Dog Facts

 

 

The Estrela Mountain has a hooked tail and the turned-back ears, which later became part of an official standard.

 

This dog can come in any color.  The Estrela Mountain exists in two forms, the longharied and the shorthaired one. These dogs weigh between 66 and 110 pounds and grow to a height of 24.5 to 28.5 inches.
